General Mobile Platform Onboarding
Mobile Onboarding will help product owners, managers, designers, and engineers on experience teams understand the mobile app development process—especially how it differs from web development—so they can build effectively for the platform. It explains how to use the shared platform to deliver a Veteran experience that aligns with VA standards, Mobile team governance, and industry best practices.
This onboarding also outlines how to engage the Mobile team for feature requests, including how to submit a request, how prioritization works, and how to track progress. In addition, the onboarding covers where and how to get support, as well as the types of feedback teams can expect and when that feedback will be provided.

Engineers Onboarding
If you are an engineer who is new to VA mobile development, please do the following actions:
- Submit an Onboarding Request ticket. This ticket will walk you through our mobile processes, documentation, and best practices. It will also begin the process for granting you system access to mobile specific tools.

Designers Onboarding
If you are a designer who is new to VA mobile design, please do the following actions:
