This is the VA’s first ever guided hands on workshop where you will work in a training repository to learn how to clear up GitHub Advanced Security alerts, Dependabot alerts, and clean up sensitive data and will help teams shift security left and meet continuous ATO. Come join the effort to help make an impact on security at the VA.

During this event, you can schedule time with a GitHub Advanced Security Expert to privately triage your VA team repo live!

Here is what you will gain by participating:

  • Guided help to remove sensitive information including secrets and PHI/PII from your codebase
  • Be fully enabled on the entire feature set of security on GitHub
